The 3rd Pan-American Championship will be held at SOSA Gliding Club in southern Ontario, Canada.
This is the first FAI sanctioned contest ever to be held in Canada. The Championship has grown to three classes: 18 Meter Class, Handicap Class (15M and Standard combined), and Club Class. There are 42 pilots registered to fly from Canada, USA, Argentina, Brazil and a guest from Serbia. The USA is sending 18 pilots and Colin Mead will serve as the US Team Captain. The US Team pilots are self-funding and splitting the captain’s expenses. Practice begins on July 30th and the contest runs from August 2 until August 11. Bookmark these links:
